Ben Lanckham made a terrific debut and finished 4th out of 30 in the U11 boys race with a time of 6:19 over 1.7 km.
Above: Sally Hogan leaps the last obstacle on the run in to the finish.
Sally Hogan achieved the highest place finish for a B&R athlete at Bourton, coming 3rd out of 14 iin the U15 girls race with a time of 21:26 for 4.9 km.

Provisional results: Our senior women’s team (Jeanette, Georgie & Tamara) was 8th out of 22 complete teams and 6th out of 14 A teams. The B team were 17th. Last season our women veterans were third overall in the league and they (Jeanette, Jane & Judy) made a good start at Bourton finishing 5th out of 12 teams.

B&R men's team (six to score) had a great start to the league with the A team finishing 4th and the B team 12th out of 16 teams. In the vets competition (four runners to score) finished 4th and 12th out of 18 teams.
